Mar 3, 2007 - Bronzewood Paedeia Covenant Presbyterian Church - Palo Alto BRONZE AND WOOD IN SWEET RESONANCE  Bronze and wood come together in a concert featuring t he sweet resonance of harp and handbells. Harpist Kevin Holsinger and handbell solo artist Michèle Sharik surprise and delight audiences with their beautiful music and charming story-telling.  In a performance on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 7:00 PM at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 670 East Meadow Drive in Palo Alto, they will be joined by guest artist Gretchen Rauch on vibraphone to present an eclectic program of ancient and modern music, from Renaissance dances to modern jazz, and all things in between. This diversity of style gives the concert a universal appeal. Tickets: $15 adults; $10 students & seniors; $30 family maximum. Audience members are encouraged to bring canned or dry goods to be donated to the South  Palo Alto Food Closet, a grocery program designed to help families with children by assisting them in their weekly food needs. The SPAFC especially needs items such as peanut butter, canned tuna, macaroni and cheese, tomato sauce, and especially any and all kinds of soup. (No baby food, please.) Harpist Kevin Holsinger and handbell solo artist Michèle Sharik surprise and delight audiences with their beautiful music and charming story-telling.  In a performance on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 7:00 PM at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 670 East Meadow Drive in Palo Alto, they will be joined by guest artist Gretchen Rauch on vibraphone to present an eclectic program of ancient and modern music, from Renaissance dances to modern jazz, and all things in between. This diversity of style gives the concert a universal appeal. Tickets: $15 adults; $10 students & seniors; $30 family maximum. Audience members are encouraged to bring canned or dry goods to be donated to the South  Palo Alto Food Closet, a grocery program designed to help families with children by assisting them in their weekly food needs. The SPAFC especially needs items such as peanut butter, canned tuna, macaroni and cheese, tomato sauce, and especially any and all kinds of soup. (No baby food, please.)
